The repeal of net neutrality so that ISPs can charge more for less is another way to kick down the people with less income and discriminate and take away our RIGHT to equality

Article 1: right to equality

Article 2: freedom from discrimination

This is restricting our freedom of speech

This is restricting the freedom of press - I don’t get my news from popular news outlets. They lie and have an agenda I don’t agree with and they don’t report all the information we should know

It’s taking away our right of freedom of expression - the right of EVERY INDIVIDUAL to hold opinions WITHOUT interference AND to seek, receive, and impart information and ideas through ANY medium and REGARDLESS of frontiers

It’s destroying jobs

Article 12: freedom from interference with privacy, family, home and correspondence.

Gonna be pretty hard to correspond if we can’t access it when we previously could

Article 26: right to education

We learn from the internet everyday. Not to mention online schooling.

Article 27: right to participate in cultural life of community

Literally so much infringment on out rights. It’s disgusting.

Net Neutrality won’t die today. I know it’s confusing since people kept saying the 23rd but here is the gist of it. The FFC ruling still needs to be approved by the federal board. The earliest this could happen is the 27th. However it most likely will take several weeks longer.

If Netneutrality does get revoked it is not the end. There are still ways to reverse these new rules, most noteable the multi state lawsuit against the FFC.

Things to also keep in mind, they are not going to introduce paywalls from one day to another. That way they can claim everyone was “exageratting” do *not* fall for that.

Keep contacting your representitives. Try to get that one vote. But keep calm and don’t panic. You’ll be fine. It will probably take several years before things will get as grim as everyone fears and until then you still can fight against it.
